When is the next Market?

Our Market

It's the Tallarook Farmers Market, Sunday April 7th !

Did you know the Tallarook Farmers Market is the only farmers market to be accredited with the Victorian Farmers Markets Association in the Mitchell Shire?

The market is an initiative of the TMI Committee & operates on the first Sunday of every month except January, with our Christmas Market held on the third Sunday in December.. The market has been providing a vital trading space to local producers since 2009 & has survived & thrived through the loyal support of the market community & dedicated local producers.

The town of Tallarook is nestled at the foothills of the Tallarook ranges and is less than an hour travel from Melbourne. The market is located at the newly rebuilt Tallarook Mechanics Institute. Our market is home to a variety of locally grown produce from producers across the region. Seasonal produce includes fruit, vegetables, eggs, bread, mushrooms, cheese, beef, pork, lamb, wine, beer, cider, olives, olive oil, pasta, honey, ferments, cereals, jams, preserves, chocolate, fudge, pastries and much more. As well as all the superb local produce there's also beautiful hand made craft items from our local makers. We look forward to seeing you back in the Rook!

Tallarook Farmers' Market acknowledge the ongoing support of the Victorian Government and Mitchell Shire Council.
